Introduction

eValue.cz s.r.o. provides nearshore software development, AI automation, and related digital services to businesses across Europe. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect through evalue.cz, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the choices and rights available to you.

By using this website or otherwise interacting with us (for example, submitting a contact form, subscribing to deal notifications, applying for a role, or booking a call), you acknowledge the practices described in this policy. If you have questions at any time, you can reach us at the contact details above.

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, and information collected automatically as you browse the site.

  • Contact and order form details: your name and email address always; and, depending on which of our contact-form enquiry types you use, your phone number, company name, and details relevant to that enquiry — such as a project brief, budget or package selection, hosting/add-on choices, technology stack, or your company size and goals.
  • Career application details: your name, email, phone number, the position you are applying for, an optional portfolio link, and any message you choose to include. We do not currently collect an uploaded CV/résumé file through this form — only a link you provide.
  • Deals and marketing email subscription: your email address, if you opt in to be notified about a specific deal or about deals and offers in general. This is a separate, opt-in marketing sign-up, distinct from a contact-form enquiry.
  • Meeting details when you book a call with us, including your name, email, and the time slot you select, and optionally your phone number, company name, and notes (processed via Google Calendar — see "Sharing Your Information" and "International Data Transfers" below).
  • Technical data collected automatically, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and referring website, gathered through cookies and similar technologies (see "Cookies" below).

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to: respond to your enquiries and provide the services you request; evaluate and process job applications; schedule and manage booked calls and meetings; send you marketing emails about deals and offers you have opted in to receive (sent directly by us — we do not currently use a separate third-party email marketing platform); operate, maintain, and improve this website, including preventing spam and abuse; and comply with our legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for purposes unrelated to those described in this policy without asking for your consent first.

Legal Basis for Processing

Where the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies, we rely on one or more of the following legal bases to process your personal data: your consent (for example, for marketing emails, and for Analytics/Marketing cookies — see "Cookies" below, neither is set before you actively opt in); the necessity of processing to take steps you requested before entering into a contract, or to perform a contract with you; our legitimate interests in operating and securing our website (for example, using Cloudflare Turnstile to prevent spam); and compliance with a legal obligation, such as retaining certain records under Czech accounting and tax law.

Cookies

We use a cookie-consent banner that lets you choose which non-essential categories of cookies to allow. Nothing in the Analytics or Marketing categories is set until you actively consent — our consent tooling defaults every measurement/advertising signal to "denied" beforehand. You can review and change your choice at any time via "Cookie settings" in the site footer.

  • Necessary (always on, cannot be disabled): required for the site to function — for example, remembering your cookie choice and keeping the site secure, including Cloudflare Turnstile, which protects our forms from spam and automated abuse.
  • Analytics (off until you consent): Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC) — pages visited, session duration, device/browser type, approximate location derived from your IP address, and referral source, to help us understand how visitors use the site. Google’s own default retention for this data is 14 months.
  • Marketing (off until you consent): Google Ads (Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC) — advertising identifiers, pages visited, and conversion events, used for remarketing and measuring ad performance; and Breezaro, our chat widget — the messages you send in the chat and the technical identifiers needed to keep your conversation open across pages. Breezaro is based in the Czech Republic (Brno); depending on which underlying AI model is configured for our chatbot at a given time, some of your chat messages may be processed outside the EU — see "International Data Transfers" below.

Sharing Your Information

We share personal data only with the following categories of recipients, and only as needed to provide our services:

  • Google (Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC) — for Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Google Calendar (call bookings), as described above.
  • Breezaro — our chat widget provider, as described above.
  • Cloudflare, Inc. — our anti-spam/security provider (Turnstile).
  • Our hosting and infrastructure providers: website images and other media are stored on Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the eu-central-1 (Frankfurt, EU) region; our database and application hosting are provided by an EU-based hosting provider.
  • Professional advisors (such as legal or accounting advisors), where necessary.
  • Authorities or other third parties, where required by law or to protect our rights.

We do not share your data with third parties for their own independent marketing purposes, and we do not sell your personal data.

Data Retention

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected for:

  • Contact/order enquiries that do not lead to a signed contract: deleted or anonymized 12 months after your last contact with us, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
  • Client/contract data, once a contract is signed: for the duration of the contract, plus the period required under Czech accounting and tax law for financial records — currently up to 10 years after the end of the relevant accounting/tax period. This is a separate legal requirement, not our own choice: invoices, contracts, and bookkeeping tied to a signed deal must be kept for this long regardless of whether we would otherwise delete the data sooner.
  • Job applications: until the position is filled, or up to 6 months afterward if you have separately opted in to be considered for future openings; deleted sooner on request.
  • Deals / marketing email subscription: until you unsubscribe. Your email may be kept afterward on a suppression list solely to honor that opt-out.
  • Call booking (Google Calendar) data: for as long as the calendar event exists, plus any period the resulting enquiry or contract is retained under the rows above.
  • Analytics cookies (Google Analytics): 14 months from collection.
  • Marketing cookies (Google Ads, Breezaro): set individually by each provider — see their own policies. Removed from your browser as soon as you withdraw consent in our cookie settings.

International Data Transfers

Some of our service providers process data outside the European Economic Area (EEA):

  • Google (Analytics, Ads, Calendar) is headquartered in the United States. Transfers rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, where the receiving Google entity is certified, and/or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses as a backstop.
  • Cloudflare, Inc. (Turnstile) may process technical/security data outside the EEA on its global network; these transfers are likewise governed by Standard Contractual Clauses.
  • Breezaro is established in the Czech Republic (EU). Depending on which AI model is configured for our chatbot, some chat processing may take place outside the EU (for example, in the United States); where this applies, it is covered by Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard.
  • Our website’s images and other media are hosted on Amazon Web Services in the eu-central-1 (Frankfurt, EU) region, and our database/application hosting is provided by an EU-based provider — neither currently involves a transfer outside the EEA.

Where personal data does leave the EEA, we ensure an appropriate safeguard — an adequacy decision, the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, or Standard Contractual Clauses — is in place.

Your Rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate data; request erasure of your data; restrict or object to certain processing; request a portable copy of your data; and withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent, without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at mail@evalue.cz. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů, uoou.cz), or your own country’s supervisory authority.

Changes to This Policy & Contact Us

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal or operational reasons. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
